Minced Eggs
- 4-5 hard-boiled eggs, chopped up
- 1 cup milk
- 1 Tbsp butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- Savory or herbs, chopped small
- 1 Tbsp flour
- Cold milk
Put the milk in a dish and set on the stove. Add the butter, pepper and salt and some savory or herbs. When it comes to a boil, stir into it the flour, dissolved in a little chilled milk. When it becomes thick like cream, put in the minced eggs. Stir gently around and around for a few moments. Serve. Garnish with bits of toast.
