Meat Balls

  • 1 lb round steak
  • 1/2 lb pork steak
  • Onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Mace
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup milk
Grind the meat 4 times. Soak the bread crumbs in milk and add the egg. Mix with the meat. Season to taste. Form into balls. Fry in a covered pan. Make a gravy and pour atop the meat balls. Let it simmer for at least an hour.
