2 cups maple syrup

3/4 cup milk

Salt

1 Tbsp butter
Cook syrup, milk and salt together to the soft ball stage. Let cool. Add butter and beat until it has a creamy consistency.
*Use as a filling for cakes, cream puffs or tarts.
