Kohilloop
- 3-4 pounds of flour
- 1 quart of milk
- 8 eggs
- 1/2 pound of sugar
- 1 pound of butter
- Rose-water
- Brandy
- Spices
- 2 spoonful of thick yeast
- Small portion of your flour
- 1/2 pound of currants
To three or four pounds of flour take a quart of milk, eight eggs, half a pound of sugar, one pound of butter, rose-water, brandy and spices to your liking. Set a sponge with half of your milk, two spoonful of thick yeast, and a small portion of your flour; after it is risen,mix all of the above ingredients together, put into dishes, and let it rise again. You may add, if you choose, half a pound of currants. If divided into two cakes, they will bake in three quarters of an hour.
