Indian Pudding No 2
- 5 cups scalded milk
- 1/2 cup corn meal
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ginger
Pour milk slowly onto corn meal, cook in double boiler 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Add molasses, salt and ginger. Pour into buttered pudding dish and bake at 300 degrees F for 2 hours. Serve with cream.
