Gingerbread
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 1 cup molasses, heated not boiled
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups waffle flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp ginger
Combine the ingredients in the order given, adding flour and milk alternately. Bake in the oven at 375°F for about 35 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
