Ginger Crackers
- 1 quart of molasses
- 3 pound of ginger
- 1 teacup of sugar
- 1/4 pound of butter
- 1 quarter of little cinnamon
- Ground cloves
- Flour
Take one quart of molasses, three a pound of ginger, one teacup of sugar, a quarters of a pound of butter, one quarter of little cinnamon, some ground cloves, and as much flour as will work it into a good dough. Cut the dough into round cakes, prick them with a fork, and bake them.
