Ginger Cordial
- 1 gallon whiskey
- 8 lemons
- 4 pounds sugar
- 1/4 pound ginger biscuit
- 1 quart water
- 4 pounds red currants
Put the whiskey, lemons and ginger in a crock and let it stand for 3 days, stirring everyday; then strain and add the sugar, which has been dissolved in the quart of water. Stir constantly until all is well mixed; then bottle. Ready for use at once.
