Ginger Cookies
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup Orleans molasses
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup sour milk
- 2 teaspoons soda
Two eggs, 1 cup Orleans molasses, 1 cup brown sugar; 1 cup shortening, 1/2 cup sour milk, 2 teaspoons soda, enough flour to make stiff, stir them over night and use as little flour as possible when rolling out. Bake in a quick oven.
