Ginger Beer
- 2 tablespoonfuls of ginger
- 1/2 pint of molasses
- 1 gallon of boiling water
- Yeast
Take two tablespoonfuls of ginger, and half a pint of molasses, and mix them together. Pour it into one gallon of boiling water, and stir it frequently until it gets cold; then put to it a little yeast, and keep it in a stone jar until it is fermented. Then bottle it for use.
