Gelatine Fruit Salad

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable gelatine
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 slices pineapple
  • 1/2 cup white grapes
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 stalks celery
  • 1/2 cup sugar
Add cold water to gelatine; cut pineapple, celery, and grapes into small pieces. Add boiling water to gelatine and stir until dissolved. Add sugar and lemon juice, and when cold, add fruit. Dip molds into cold water and drain; pour mixture into molds and put on ice to become hard to the touch. Serve on lettuce leaves with dressing. If desired, a cheese ball may be placed on each plate.
