Gelatin Salad

  • 2 cups cooked beets, sliced
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 2 Tbsps vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 tsps sugar
  • 1 Tbsp onion, minced
  • 1 Tbsp horseradish, grated
  • 2 Tbsps gelatin
  • 4 Tbsps cold water
Soak the gelatin in cold water and dissolve it in 1 cup boiling water. Add the other ingredients. Turn into small molds. Serve on cabbage or lettuce leaves with mayonnaise or other salad dressing.
