Fruit Tapioca

  • 1/4 lb tapioca
  • 4 ounces sugar, sifted
  • 1 quart fruit in season - strawberries, raspberries, blackberries or cranberries
Soak the tapioca in cold water for 3 hours. Dissolve on the stove in as little water as possible. When the tapioca is dissolved, add the sifted sugar and fruit. Cook for about 10 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Pour into molds.

Serve cold with cream.
