Fried Steak

  • 4 ounces vinegar
  • Steak
  • 1 ounce butter
  • 1 spoonful black pepper
  • 1-2 spoonfuls catsup
  • 1 spoonful raw mustard
Lay the steak in a deep dish. Pour over the vinegar and let it stand for about an hour. Put butter in the frying pan and some of the vinegar from the dish, enough to stew the steak. When done, the steak will be in a thick gravy. Put the steak in a hot dish. Add black pepper, catsup and raw mustard to the gravy left in the pan.
