Fried Salt Pork

  • Thin slices of pork
  • Flour
  • 1/2 pint milk
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp parsley, finely chopped
Cut the salt pork in thin slices and dip in cold water. Roll in flour and fry crisp.

Drain off most of the grease from the frying pan. While still hot, stir in the flour, milk, a little pepper and salt. Let it boil. Pour into a gravy dish. Some finely chopped parsley will add nicely to the appearance of the gravy.
