Fried Pork Chops
- Pork chops
- Powdered sage or summer savory
- Pepper
- Salt
- Spoonful of flour
- 1 pint milk
Fry the pork chops in the same manner as mutton chops (see Fried Mutton Chops recipe.) Sprinkle over them a little powdered sage or summer savory, pepper and salt. If a gravy is preferred, skim off some of the fat in the pan and stir in a spoonful of flour. Stir it until free from lumps. Season with pepper and salt and add milk. Boil up. Serve in a gravy boat.
