Fried Onions and Potatoes

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 large onions
  • vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
Put onions into a covered skillet with equal parts of water and oil. Fry until water has evaporated, remove cover, add potatoes, and season. Stir frequently to prevent sticking, and fry until brown. Serve with tomato ketchup, if your little heart desires.
