Feather Pudding
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Nutmeg
Beat the butter and sugar to a cream. Slowly stir in the well-beaten egg and milk with the baking soda dissolved in it. Season with nutmeg.
Take the flour and rub into it, dry, the cream of tartar. Add the mixture and bake.
Serve with sauce.
