English Suet Pudding
- 4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- Salt
- 1/2 pound suet, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup raisins
- Cold water
Sift flour with baking powder and salt, add suet, raisins, and enough cold water to make a stiff dough. Tie in a floured cloth and simmer 2 1/2 hours in boiling water. Serve with roast beef and brown gravy.
