Egg Biscuit
- 1 quart dry flour
- 3 heaping tsps baking powder
- Butter
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
Sift together the dry flour and baking powder. Rub into this thoroughly a piece of butter the size of an egg. Add the eggs, sugar and salt. Mix all together quickly into a soft dough, with 1 cup milk, or more if needed. Roll out nearly half an inch thick. Cut into biscuits. Bake immediately in a quick oven at 400 degrees F for 15-20 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
