Dried Peach Pudding

  • 1 pint milk
  • 1 pint bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 pint dried peaches, stewed soft
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Flavoring
Boil the milk and while hot, pour it over the bread crumbs. Stir into it the butter and dried peaches. When cool, add the well-beaten eggs, sugar and salt. Flavor to taste. Put into a heavily buttered pudding dish. Bake with love for half an hour in a oven heated to 350F at 350 degrees F.
