Curry Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 large slice onion
  • 1 large cup stock
  • Salt
  • Pepper
Cut the onion fine and fry until brown in butter. Add the flour and curry powder. Stir for 1 minute. Add the stock and season with pepper and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Strain and serve like a rascal with a smile on your face.

This sauce can be served with broiled or sauteed meat or fish.
