Curry Sauce for Vegetables
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 2 Tbsps flour
- 1 cup milk, scalded
- 3/4 tsp onion salt
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- Few grains celery salt
- 1 cup potatoes
- 1 cup carrots
- 1/2 cup peas
Melt the butter. Add flour and mix through and through. Gradually pour on scalded milk and cook until thickened. Season with onion salt, curry powder, white pepper and a few grains of celery salt. Cook the potatoes, carrots and peas. Pour over the sauce.
