Curried Lima Beans
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbsp butter or lard
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cup lima beans, cooked
Fry onion in butter for a few minutes (be patient, you rascal). Add curry powder, salt, flour, lemon juice and water. Cook slowly for 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Then add lima beans, mix well and serve hot.
