Creamed Hubbard Squash

  • Squash
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Cream
  • Butter
Cut squash, remove seeds, wash, and put into steamer. Cook until soft. Scrape pulp from shell, press through a colander, or mash. Add salt, sugar, butter, and cream. Whip until it has a creamy consistency.
