Creamed Beets
- Cooked beets
- White sauce (see White Sauce for Creamed Meats, Fish, Vegetables & Toast recipe)
Any leftover beets that have been served with butter and no vinegar may be creamed. Chop them coarsely. To each cup of beets, allow 1 cup of white sauce. Heat together.
