Cream of Corn and Celery Soup
- 4 large pieces celery
- 1 Can corn
- 2 slices onion
- 3 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- Salt, white pepper
- Paprika
- 1 cup rich milk
- Minced parsley
- Hot buttered and salted popcorn
Put celery, corn and onions through a mincer, add to milk in top of double boiler and cook about 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal). In a separate pan make sauce of butter, flour, seasonings and rich milk. Cook 10 minutes, ad to double boiler mixture. Serve piping hot; top each serving with parsley. Pass the popcorn.
