Cream Drop Cakes
- 1 cup cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- Salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Grated nutmeg or lemon peel
- Flour
Dissolve the baking soda in the cream. Add the sugar, a pinch of salt and egg and beat all together. Flavor with a little grated nutmeg or lemon peel. Stir in enough flour to be able to drop off the spoon.
Bake on tins in a quick oven at 400°F.
