Cream Cheese Pastry
- 1/2 lb butter
- 1 package cream cheese
- 2 cups flour
- 3 Tbsps sugar
- 2 tsps salt
Cream butter and cheese; work in flour, sugar and salt sifted together. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours and use plenty of flour in rolling out. This makes for a very rich pastry and may be used for cheese sticks or small squares for salad or as tarts filled with jelly or jam. Apple Pie Glace is good made with this crust.
