Cornstarch Cakes
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 5 egg whites, beaten to a stiff froth
- 2 tsps cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Flavoring
Mix all of the ingredients together. Flavor to taste. Bake in gem tins or patty pans.
