Coconut Custard
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup coconut
Scald milk, add cornstarch which has been mixed with a small amount of chilled milk, cook ten minutes (be patient, you rascal). Mix other ingredients, add to cornstarch mixture, cook one minute. Pour into serving dish. Chill and serve like a rascal with a smile on your face.
