Chocolate Cake, No.3
- For the cake:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 5 egg yolks
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsps baking powder
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- For the filling:
- 3 egg whites
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 Tbsps chocolate, grated
- 1 tsp vanilla
To make the cake, mix the baking powder with the flour while dry. Then mix all of the ingredients together. Bake in jelly tins.
For the filling, beat all of the above ingredients together. Spread between the layers and on top of the cake.
