Chocolate Cake

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sour cream or milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • For the filling:
  • 2 ounces chocolate
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
Beat the butter and sugar together. Break the eggs into it, one at a time. Mix the cream of tartar in the flour. Add the flour into the mixture, then the sour cream and baking soda mixed together. Bake in jelly cake pans.

For the filling, mix all of the above ingredients together and boil until half done.
