Chicken Loaf

  • 1 chicken
  • 2 ounces butter
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Hard boiled egg, sliced
Boil the chicken in as little water as possible until the meat can be picked easily from the bones. Cut it up finely. Put the meat back in the saucepan with the butter and season with pepper and salt. Grease a square china mold. Cover the bottom with slices of hard boiled egg. Pour in the chicken and place a weight on it. Set aside to cool off.
