Chicken Liver Eggs

  • 2 chicken livers
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 hard cooked eggs
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • Worcestershire Sauce to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • Salt and pepper
Chop livers and delicately sprinkle with minced onion. Saute in butter until tender. Cut eggs into two equal parts lengthwise. Remove yolks and force through sieve, add parsley, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce to taste, and mix with chicken livers. Refill halves of egg whites with mixture, delicately sprinkle with grated cheese and place in shallow baking pan. Bake in 350° F. oven until cheese melts. Serve with toast and small amount of tomato sauce.
