Chess Pie
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- Pinch of salt
Put raisins through meat grinder. Cream butter and sugar, add raisins, egg yolks and milk. Cook for 5 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Let cool and then put in baked pie crust. Cover with meringue.
