Cherry Pudding, Boiled or Steamed
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 cup milk
- Sifted flour
- 2 large tsps baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Cherries
Mix all of the above ingredients together. Add enough flour to make a stiff batter. Use as many cherries as can be stirred in. Boil for approximately an hour or steam. Serve with liquid sauce.
Cranberries, currants, peaches, cherries or any tart fruit can also be used. Serve with sweet sauce.
