Cheese with Creamed Sprouts

  • 1 cup white sauce (see White Sauce for Creamed Meats, Fish, Vegetables & Toast recipe)
  • 1 cup leftover Brussels sprouts
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
Add the Brussels sprouts to the hot sauce, being careful not to break them. When well heated, add the grated cheese. Remove from the fire as soon as the cheese is melted. Serve on heavily buttered toast.
