Charlotte Russe
- 1 ounce gelatin
- 1 quart whipped cream
- 8 eggs, whites & yolks separated
- 1 quart milk
- Sugar
- Flavoring
Make a custard of the milk, gelatin and egg yolks. Add sugar and flavoring to taste. When cool, add the well-beaten egg whites and whipped cream. Line the mold with sponge cake.
