Celery Sauce
- 24 r4ipe tomatoes
- 6 heads celery
- 6 small onions
- 1 cup salt
- 1 red pepper
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 quart vinegar
- 1 tablespoon mixed spice
Peel tomatoes and onions, chop very fine the celery, pepper, tomatoes and onions, add the vinegar, sugar, spice, etc. Boil gently for three hours.
