Catawba Grape Wine

- Gelatin
To every gallon of grape juice, add 1 quart of cold water and 3 pounds of sugar. Pour into a demijohn. Let it remain uncorked for 14 days and then cork loosely.
Add 1/2 box of gelatin to every 10 gallons 14 days after making it.
At the end of a month, tighten the cork. Let it remain undisturbed for 6 months after which it may be racked, bottled and sealed.
