Caramel Pudding
- 1 cup medium brown sugar
- 1 pint milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 2 heaping tablespoons flour
- nuts if desired
Melt sugar. To this add milk, yolks of eggs, flour, and butter. Stir till smooth. Turn into pan lined with butter, cover with stiffly beaten whites of eggs, and brown in oven. Put away to chill. Serve with whipped cream.
