Caramel Pudding

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 pint milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar
Let milk boil, then add the cornstarch moistened with milk; boil sugar and scorch on a tin pie-dish. Then pour into the cornstarch, stirring very quickly. Pour into mold.
