Caramel Icing

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup thin cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • vanilla
Stir while cooking 30 minutes, or until it makes a ball in cold water. Beat until ready to spread on cake, flavoring to taste.
