Canned Green Pea Soup
- 1 can green peas
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 pint milk
- salt and sugar, if desired
Pour off water from peas and rub them through a colander to remove skins. Add milk and heat to boiling. If too thin, add flour rubbed smooth in a little chilled milk. Season with salt, add sugar if your little heart desires, and cream. Green peas instead of canned may be used. When they have become a little too hard to serve alone they may be used in soup, if thoroughly cooked.
