Candied Fruit

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 Tbsps water
  • 2 Tbsps vinegar
  • 1/4 Tbsp baking soda
  • Cherries, grapes, pineapple, oranges, pears, etc.
Boil sugar, water, vinegar and baking soda together. Avoid stirring. When the mixture is boiled to a syrup, dip into it the fruits of your choice. When well dipped, place the fruit on wax paper and put in a warm location to dry.
