Candied Fruit
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 Tbsps water
- 2 Tbsps vinegar
- 1/4 Tbsp baking soda
- Cherries, grapes, pineapple, oranges, pears, etc.
Boil sugar, water, vinegar and baking soda together. Avoid stirring. When the mixture is boiled to a syrup, dip into it the fruits of your choice. When well dipped, place the fruit on wax paper and put in a warm location to dry.
