Cabbage Salad

  • 1 head of cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • For the dressing:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt
  • 2 tsps butter, melted
  • 1 cup vinegar
Sprinkle the chopped cabbage lightly in a dish. Make the dressing by mixing together all of the above ingredients for the dressing. Put the mixture in a small vessel set inside of another full of boiling water. Stir for 5 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Set aside to cool off. Beat in the cream. Pour over the cabbage. Serve.
