Cabbage Pudding
- 1 head cabbage
- Bacon
- Butter
- 4 ounces milk
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 tsps mixed mustard
- Pepper
- Salt
- Cracker or bread crumbs
Boil the cabbage with the bacon. When thoroughly done, chop fine and add a large lump of butter, milk, beaten eggs, mixed mustard and pepper and salt to taste. Pour into a buttered deep dish. Put dusted pepper on top, bits of butter and cracker or bread crumbs. Bake a light brown.
