Cabbage & Potato Puree

  • 2 cups cabbage, boiled & finely minced
  • 6 medium-size potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup hot milk
Peel the potatoes and place them in a stew pan with enough boiling water to cover. Cook for 30 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Pour off the water and mash the potatoes fine.

Beat in the hot milk, seasoning and minced cabbage. Cook for 5 minutes longer.
