Buttered Toast

  • 6 slices toasted bread, 1/2 inch thick
  • Boiling water
  • Melted butter
  • Salt
Dip each slice of toast quickly into the boiling water and cover with melted butter. Sprinkle each slice with a very little amount of salt. Lay them on each other as you butter them. Set in a hot oven for a few minutes (be patient, you rascal). Serve.
